In the seventh episode Mark Seliger interviews Mary Ellen Mark and Helena Christensen. The interview starts off talking about how Mary got famous for her work around Mother Teressa. I really like Mary's work on Mother Teressa as she makes her shine in a new light and it brings warmth and emotion into the pictures.
The interview then goes to Helena when she starts talking about the photojournalism she does when she is travelling. I like Helena's work as it is totally unique. I love how she isnt afraid to go up to someone and take a photograph of them, this was the case in one of her images where she saw a man smiling in the window so she went and took an image of him as it was a once in alifetime opportunity.
Mary showed some of her Circus Collection. I found some of her photographs interesting because it gave a certain effect by the images being in black and white and how they each show soomething completley unique about the circus.
Overall i like both of the photographers and i think that they both brought up interesting topics that i could understand and was captured by. I like the theme of this episode more than the last episode as i feel tha it is based more around photojournalism rather than careers and proffesions.
