Eat Cake Design:

1. The challenges that small businesses face when setting up their company are finding clients and being noticed (advertising). A small company will find it harder to find clients as they may only have a small brand identity therefore they would have to advertise more efficiently. This could  be costly to the company as funding may be an issue if they are a small company, due to the amount of clients that they are getting.

2. The skills that you need to start up a small business is organization, team work and communication. I find that these are the most important skills to have your business running functionaly. You need to be organized as there is little people working with you so you need to know what tasks your doing etc. Communication is important as you will be working with clients and getting payed for it, therefore you need to make sure you and your partner are exchanging information properly to deliver a good service to the clients. I believe that i have these skills and can use them well, however i know that i do not want to go into a small business.

3. Skills that i would need to develop for working within a small business would be organization. I am relatively organizated but i would further develop this skill.
