In this episode (six) Mark Seliger interviews Baryshnikov and Ben Lowy. They talk about their experiences and transitions from infront of the camera to behind the lens. The episode starts of with Ben Lowy talking about an image that he took, it was very bright and fun. It then changes to Baryshnikov interpreting what his opinion of photography is.

The interview goes onto talking about Ben Lowy's work in Iraq during the war; photojournalism. However, instead of taking images from his perspective he decided to make the images come from what the soldiers see instead. I found this quite interesting because i personally have never seen something like this been done before. He said that it is so he can let go of himself from the world that he personally sees, so that he can convey what is happening through someone elses perspective in a purer form. However, he says that he tries to make theimage look beautiful from the disaster that he sees.

Baryshnikov talks about his career as a dancer and how he is very attached to his work and has emotional attachment. Baryshnikov mainly takes images of dancers, as that is his proffesion. He also likes to take images of himself as a dancer so that he feels connected to his work more.

I liked this episode as i enjoyed the topics that were being talked about. The most interesting aspect that i found out was how Lowy makes his images in the perspective of another person so that his images aren't biased on his side.
