In this episode Mark Seliger interviews Steven Alan and Peter Yang. Peter talks about his experiences photographing Barack Obama, Daft Punk, Iggy Pop, Danny Boyle, Jimmy Fallon and other luminaries, while Steven Alan talks about his experiences with photography and fashion.
Steven bases his photography around fashion and uses a Rolliflex camera to take his images. I like his images as i think they are unique and interesting, however i personally do not love fashion photography as i find it all boring in general, therefore i wouldnt take time to research into more depth about him.
I like Peter's work as it includes many different celebrities and it focuses around the expectations of celebrities. I often think that celebrity images are overrated because there are so many of them! Its always hard for me to tell who has taken what image of a certain celebrite, however i really like Peter's work and i think it is unquie and stands out from your typical viewing of a celebrity portrait.
Overall, i think that episode nine was much more interesting than episode ten because of the themes and the photographer included in the episodes. Also, i feel like the conversation was more interesting in episodde nine.
