David Johnson

I chose to look at David Johnson's work today. The piece i'm looking at is called 'Symphony in the Canopy',

I like this peice of work because it conveys nature. The natural elements of the earth and the effect of the sun (rays of light). I also like the colours of the leaves. Instead of the leaves being all green which would be unrealstic, they are brown, yellow, green and slightly red. T

his gives a good balance of colours and contrast within the piece of work.

Also the composition of the picture is good because the sun is at the top of the picture nearly in the middle. With the sun rays spreading out throughout the picture it makes the picture collaborate together with the trees and the sun.
